Shifts and Event Creation

Goal: To help you distinguish between a work shift for your staff and a public event for your community.

Updated over a week ago
  1. Work Shifts (Private): Use a "Shift" to manage when your employees are working. These are for your internal calendar only—parents and students will never see these or be able to buy them.

  2. Events (Public): Use an "Event" for things like clinics, fundraisers, or one-time camps. These will appear on your marketplace for parents to see and purchase.

  3. Basic Info: For both, give it a name (e.g., "End of Season Fundraiser"), upload a photo, and write a quick description.

  4. Pick a Spot: Choose your location from your saved list.

  5. Set the Time: Decide if it’s a single-day thing or a multi-day schedule.

  6. Pricing (Events Only): * Free Events: Toggle the "Free Event" switch.

    • Paid Events: Set your price. Use the slider to decide if your business or the parent covers the small service fee.

  7. Limit Signup: Use the "Enrollment Widget" to set a maximum number of participants so your event doesn't get overcrowded.

  8. Go Live: Click Save & Publish to send your event straight to your marketplace!
